The first peek at the 2018 Groovin the Moo line-up has been released today to mixed reactions.
The line-up includes some of the best performers on Triple J’s Hottest 100 including Vera Blue, Baker Boy, Ball Park Music and Winston Surfshirt; some Aussie classics in the form of Paul Kelly, Grinspoon and Ella Hooper; and some relative newbies like Alex Lahey and Coda Conduct.
Comments on Groovin’s Facebook announcement appear equal parts hyped, underwhelmed and disappointed.
It’s an interesting mix to say the least and Groovin’s promotor Steve Halpin said: “It’s a diverse and exciting range of artists with a treat for every musical taste bud. We can’t wait to head around the country with these artists, and we’ve got more to come with our Fresh Produce and Community programs showcasing what’s on offer from each of our beloved regions.”
