Catch Sexy Herpes at the Courthouse

Townsville fans of the web-turned-television series Sexy Herpes, created by local company Mad Dan Productions, will be able to catch the series in full at Townsville’s premiere screening next weekend.

The binge-watch event, held in partnership with Full Throttle Theatre, will seek to raise funds for local indigenous education and training centre, Bindal Sharks, which is providing pivotal cultural consulting on Mad Dan’s next web series, Blood
Sisters.

Sexy Herpes is now airing on Channel Nine’s 9GO and gathering a fast following thanks to its new age Aussie humour. The series examines the day-to-day routines of life in a regional sexual health clinic, following a group of overworked, jaded, and hilariously complex characters, but also seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding regular sexual health check-ups.

The fundraising event will also feature a live Q&A with co-creator Dan Mulvihill and actor Rohan Nicol (Red Dog, Underbelly); as well as live music by Goodo & The Sexies.

A Very Sexy Fundraiser will be held on 5 May at The Courthouse Theatre. For tickets visit What’s On Townsville.
WARNING: Sexy Herpes contains adult language and themes.
