Brothers Ben and Geoff Robertson, joined by Simon Brook McLachlan, will deliver a nostalgic trip down memory lane when they bring their popular The Robertson Brothers’ 60s’ Variety Show to the Burdekin this weekend.
This interactive evening features some of the biggest hits of the 1960s including music by The Everly Brothers, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Bee Gees and The Hollies.
Ben said they’d designed the show to be just like a 1960s’ Variety Show.
“There’s lots of cameras, cheesy TV ads and the best songs of all time,” he said.
“We pieced together the show by checking the charts from the 60s and using the big number 1 songs plus picking songs that are our personal favourites and that suit our voices.
“Audiences often tell us we took them on a trip down memory lane. It takes them back to the 60s for a few hours; they love all the singing and dancing they get to do as well.”
Don’t miss The Robertson Brothers’ 60s’ Variety Show at Burdekin Theatre on 15 June 2019, with tickets available here.
